Purification

Here I have generated the music and the visuals, taken from the suburbs of Buenos Aires. Although the music is older, from a theather work I´ve done, I think it snaps in a special way with the visuals. I like the contrast of the apparent contemplative state of the video with the great narrative charge from the music because it leaves a lot of construction to you!

High dimentions
Composed in 1998 about an idea from 1990 (old!) with the singer/writter Hector Von Diecker within the group “Third Vision”. More details in the section “Performances and Workshops”.
A tune that identifies me a lot from the music and from the beatiful poetry from Hector. Uncommon duration for a pop (pop?) song, made it with the old Cakewalk Audio in a Pentium I computer.

Chivelam
Electroacoustic work for 9 instruments and tape, based on a series of pictures from the russian painter Kasimir Malevich.
The instruments are taken from my old and faithful K2000 Kurzweil sampler, played by me from the score.

Summer is almost gone
Recorded from a live session, from a beautiful Doors´song.
Liz on vocals, Pedro Esterlus on guitars, and me on keyboards playing that piano-choir that serves me as a bass too.
The name of the group is Nocturnal Menage, and we join from time to time to play and compose our songs.

Casa X
Our version from the well-know dance song, produced with the DJ Big Fabio and the producer- performer Mercurio…Very cool..relax and enjoy.

World in my eyes
Version of the classic tune produced with the DJ Big Fabio. The idea wa to create a harder version than the original. As we did not have the acapella voice, it was a hard work to make it!

My vision about mixing experimental electronics, pop elements and human touch (I played live my keyboards and controllers as much as possible) where I experimented with the rythmics, the harmony, the timbre and the spatialization. Surrounding the 4
Is it possible to compose dance music surrounding the number 4 instead of sticking to it ?
Here you have rythmic games scaping from the tyrannical number 4, the owner of almost all the rythmics aspects in Occident, in addittion to melody, harmonny and human touch. (Again I l enjoyed to play live allthe solos and melodies).

An experiment between India´s devotional chants, the vocoder to generate virtual choirs, pads and sitars
I keep the circular aspect of this kind of music repeating the vocal phrase during all the song, but changing the bass and the harmony of the choir. To acquire the CD please contact me. More info in the “Sound work” section.

Sound and composition design for “A heartbeat for Esculapio”
This is my contribution in the nusical and sound design aspects for a group work with a dancer-choreograph and an architect.

Dark music and psychology
Its an investigation about the lyrics of some obscure music groups (The Doors, Joy Division, The Cure) and their psychological aspects…I´m not a psychologist but made some workshop about it.

Musical segregation taking account of the visual perceptual principles
When I studied the visual perception principles, I thought about how interesting could be to try and apply them to the music.
I read some texts and made my own researches and this is the result.
It really works, as I use it in my music and sound classes with great artworks as a result.

Introduction to the sound and music nature
I wrote this text specially for the people who work with sound and music but does not have a former idea about them: dance and theater people, graphig designers, etc.
I think that knowing these basic principles, the comunication between people from different kinds of art and musicians/ sound designers could be better.
I had some experiencies of lack of language in some people to explain what they really want, what kind of world they want to create with the music, the sound, the spatalization, so this is my contribution to solve those problems.
